What we collect, and why.
Counter-Pump is in closed beta. This site exists to capture early-access signups and to send one launch email when your wave goes live. This notice describes the data we collect through that signup, why we keep it, and for how long.
What we collect
- Email address — provided by you in the signup form. Used solely to email you when the beta opens.
- Hashed IP fingerprint — your IP address is one-way SHA-256 hashed with a server-side salt before it ever touches our database. We never store your raw IP.
- User-agent and country code — sent by your browser and by Cloudflare. Used to debug compatibility and to size beta waves geographically.
- Cloudflare Turnstile challenge result — verifies you're human. Cloudflare's own privacy notice applies; we receive only a pass/fail signal.
Why we collect it
Email is the beta announcement channel. The hashed-IP fingerprint blocks abuse — we use it to rate-limit signups so a single source can't flood our database with fake addresses. The hash is irreversible without the salt, and the salt never leaves our server.
How long we keep it
Until launch, plus 30 days. After that 30-day window, all beta-signup rows are deleted in full — email, hashed fingerprint, and metadata. If you'd like to be removed earlier, email the address below and we'll delete your row.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your email, share it with third parties, or pass it to advertising networks.
- We don't store raw IP addresses.
- We don't run analytics, cookies, or tracking pixels on this signup page beyond Cloudflare Turnstile.
- We don't email you for anything other than the single beta launch announcement.
